The Pioneer Inn Grill is our favorite for Sunday breakfast after church. Our choice is always the Eggs Benedict with a fruit plate to share. We enjoy the laid back atmosphere of this historic inn, and its location on the harbor. Parking in the area...More

Great lunch. Steak was cooked to perfection, lovely crisp vegetables and creamy garlic mash. Service was excellent and prompt. Location, great. What a lovely place to enjoy a quiet lunch whilst watching the world go by. Definitely going back.

Nice place to have an afternoon or early evening cocktail. It's an old era building seen in many movies, The Devil at 4 o'clock with Frank Sinatra comes to mind. At the water's edge by the wharf, don't miss it.

Other than being an old haunt, nothing is really a standout here that you couldn't get elsewhere, except for the parrot which can be noisy at times. I think they have changed vendors for their Portuguese sausage as I remembered it as slightly spicier than...More

The weather in February and March is close to perfect -- shorts and sandals. It is our favorite time to visit primarily for the humpback whales.

Enjoy Breakfast, Lunch, Happy Hour and Dinner at the historic Pioneer Inn Grill and Bar. Breakfast favorites include macadamia nut pancakes, loco moco and huevos rancheros in addition to healthy favorites like oatmeal or yogurt with fresh fruit. For lunch and dinner we offer the freshest fish, Maui grown burgers and steaks and a full range of small plates including hearts of Romaine caesar salad, seared ahi and kahlua pig sliders. The historic whalers saloon is the perfect place to watch the fishing boats come in with their catch while enjoying one of our Mai tais or another tropical favorite. We offer local draft beer and know that you will find our resident African gray parrot entertaining.
