This is a great place, very relaxed and yet very busy. Casanova is the perfect place in Mokawao if you are in town for one night.. The food is excellent, the service is stellar. Love the wood fired pizza! We had fried calamari, a kale caesar salad and a meatball pizza with olives, mushrooms, onions and garlic. Fabulous. So good... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Stopped for dinner after watching sunset at Haleakala. The food hit the spot. Their bread was freshly baked. Linguine Pescatore sauce was amazing. You can easily come back again. My husband had Rigatoni Beverly hills with sun dried tomatoes and it was very good too. Price was reasonable too. Ambience was good and service was great.

We took a tour to the top of Haleakala Crater from the Grand Princess Hawaii Cruise. The tour stopped at this old, quaint, and charming Italian Restaurant. The chef greeted our coach and personally directed our driver into a corner of the small parking lot--he looked like he still was in Italy with his hat, apron and kelly green chef... More

We stopped at this quaint little restaurant while on a tour. Normally one would probably give this a miss because it looks quite run down and grubby. The food is very good (little bit salty) and we would definitely recommend the pasta. Even though our bill was not correct, the staff were quick to fix it and were very pleasant.... More

The restaurant where we had planned to have lunch was closed and this was nearby so we just stopped in on a rainy chilly day. Oh my, what a meal we had! First came the focacia which was fresh, hot and delicious. The Vongole: clams both minced and in the shell served in an awesome white wine sauce over fresh... More

After a day touring the high country on Maui, we ended up in Makawao and when we asked a local for a good dining place, we were recommended to Casanova's. The service was excellent, the meals very good and served in quality plates. I would have no hesitation in recommending Casanova's for fine Italian food.

tasted really good, very good service. And most important this was not american-Italian food, but real italian food as you would get in Europe!

We drove up country today from Kihei. Stopped first in Pa'ia....total grid lock traffic, and tough to find parking. So we continued up country to Makawao, home of the paniolo(cowboy) on Maui. A quaint town with unique shops even custom made glass pieces. For lunch we went to the Casanova Italian Restaurant & Deli. I had the Brooklyn, hot pastrami,... More

We recently ate here for lunch and loved it. I choose this place because of the good reviews and I'm so glad we came here. Food was very good. We liked the atmosphere as well. My wife had their carbonara and LOVED it. I had the pesto ravioli and it was equally as good. We hope to come back one... More
