Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner are served at this local favorite. Closed a couple of days/nights a week. Building is a little on the worn side, but the food and hospitality (of most) are good. Tina, owner is very nice. NOTE: Cash only. Enjoy!

We were told to go up here for some loco moco by one local, best loco moco I have had in years! Burger cooked just right, eggs just right, little bit of cheese and tomato and chopped green onion on top! Yumm or as they say on the island Ono grinds. We didn't have any drinks, but 2 loco moco... We were so excited to go here. I was raised in Hawaii and we have come to various Islands and places at least ten vacations. We were told by many to come here, particularly for breakfast, so we did. The food was great...expensive for breakfast but understandable for Molokai. I had the stuffed French toast which was super. However, the... More

We asked several residents of Molokai recommendations for restaurants. Molokai Cookhouse was always mentioned first. The restaurant is a small family run establishment with good food and generous portions. We went on Thursday which is prime rib night. The prime rib lived up to its reputation. BYOB is the policy. There is a small store across the street selling beer... More

Great place, nice atmosphere, right out of the airport. Stopped in had a good burger and fries and my husband had a tasty steak lunch. Very nice atmosphere and a convenient market right across the street. Friendly people.

You would never guess that such great food would be served at such a simple looking place. Molokai does not have many restaurants, but this place could easily hold its own in Honolulu or any other big city. If you have one meal to eat on Molokai, eat it at the Cookhouse!

Lunch was nothing to write home about. Decent garden burger and Mahi burger on paper plates, with meek salad. The menu had some serious looking dinner items, for the carnivore. Molokai is not a gourmet kind of place, so this is an average eatery popular with locals. Sadly the location is within wind drift of Monsanto killing fields.

Chicken teriyaki was great, very low key, bring your own beer and relax. Big portions if you "kanaka" it.

Legitimate local cuisine. We had to split a plate lunch… A little bit of local Moco loco. So big that the two of us could not even finish it. Waitress was fun and a tenor. Overall, definitely a destination spot if you're on the island.

Atmosphere is pure Hawaiian....friendly but no need to rush. Food is good with an interesting mix though many with the ubiquitous rice and macaroni salad. Grilled mahi-mahi was very good as was the tonkatsu though maybe somewhat overdone. Overall, an Hawaiian experience...laid back and all.

Thank Paul L
