A true diner with incredible food and fun atmosphere. Loved the LocoMoco. Waitress was extremely pleasant. A nice local diner to visit.

My wife and I have lived in Aiea for almost 20 years and had always heard of Forty-Niner Diner. We'd driven past it both to and from work but had never thought of eating there. In a quest to try new places, we decided to go there for breakfast one Sunday. The adventure was well worth the time and effort.... More

Been here a couple of times and each time I haven't been disappointed! Jeanne is a great hostess and the food is delicious!! Son going back to college and his last meal before heading to the Midwest! Gotta have their Niner Bento & the famous niner pancakes!!

Excellent food but slow service...locals eat here and you should try it. Do not let the construction going on around this place scare you off. The stop is worth your time for some local flavor. Semper fi

Went for lunch, but 2 of us had breakfast. Place looks like a dive from outside and the inside shows its age (built in 1947). Folding chairs sort of rickety, but the booths were full so we sat at a table. Clearly the local eat here. There is outside seating too, but the day we went was sort of rainy.... More

I had the Hawaiian plate that included rice, laulau, Lomi salad, macaroni salad and kalua pig. The dish was okay but the Loki salad didn't have salmon. My friend had garlic chicken which seemed like a better dish.

We were touring Pearl Harbor and were trying to avoid crowded cafeterias and chain restaurants, so we came here for lunch. The location is unassuming and we didn't have high expectations. However, the menu seemed extensive and the prices very good! We were not disappointed. My daughter and husband had one of the full breakfasts and my son had a... More

Their food here has always been a go to for us. I personally love their Korean BBQ chicken and garlic chicken. My husband likes their Teri beef plate. Honestly, the Mac salad is made differently here, with spaghetti noodles instead of macaroni, but it's my favorite Mac salad by fat. The restaurant has been in Aiea forever and is like... More

The place is very sketchy. Waitress was nice. Fried saimin wasn't fried. Big portions of food but it was covered in grease/oil. Not a fan.
