We drove to the Kahumana Organic farm on the West coast from Waikiki, without incident. It was easy to find with a little help from my iPhone. We had a wonderful tour, learned a lot about sustainable Organic farming and enjoyed a tasty Organic Lunch consisting of a farm fresh Salad, A veggie pasta and a very nice cheesecake for... More

My mother and I visited this place during our stay in Makaha. We arrived right when they opened for dinner and just loved the experience. We sat out on the screened in porch and the place was very quiet and peaceful. We both got something different and thought both meals were tasty. I am coming back to Oahu in a... More

Kahumana Organic Farm & Cafe is a definite part of our itinerary every time we fly to Oahu, and sometimes we eat there twice in the same week! I will never forget the first time over 5 years ago, they ran out of some ingredient for a salad I ordered so they walked out to the garden and picked some... More

This cafe/farm/retreat is definitely off the beaten track but with our GPS, we had no trouble in getting there. It is certainly worth a visit just to experience the somewhat hippie vibe to the place and is very popular as was indicated by the large number of people who were there. For lunch, I chose the soup and salad combo... More

Best meal I've had in my 56 years on this planet! You should check out their website. One of the most unique ways to run a business that I've ever seen!

They grow their own herbs and spices. All the entrees are made to order. Plan on a leisurely unhurried meal. We tried many entrees but couldn't decide which stood out because they were all wonderful.

We had a beautiful meal. We sat outside and the smell of night jasmine was marvelous. The owner took a minute and visited with us. It seems like your going down the wrong road to get there but you you will get there. Worth the drive.

A local told us about this place and we are glad she did. It is off the main path, but it is in a beautiful setting. The service was extremely friendly and the Ahi Tuna was among the best we've ever had.

A friend who teaches her annual workshop here (it's also a retreat center!) told me about it and I added it to my list of places to visit during my vacation on Oahu. Her recommendation was spot on! My Hawaiian hosts and I drove there for lunch and enjoyed a delicious and very very fresh lunch. Casual dining, they had... More

My favorite part of travel is discovering "off the beaten path" places & people. This was definitely one of those! The food was uniquely flavored, combinations were fantastic and portions plentiful! Although I initially went for lunch, I returned for dinner before leaving the islands. Warning: check out their website & driving directions. .. it's a bit tricky to find.
