Compare this "just out of the can" Mexican cuisine to any other similar themed area restaurant (Border Cafe, El Sarape) and La Paloma fails miserably. Here's why: 1. Website menu item was long-time unavailable and the substitute "pork, rice & cheese enchilada" had a super bland taste with no guacamole along with pork that tasted like tenderized Home Depot lumber.... We have been going here for a number of years. The food is southwestern mexican style, and the quality used to be very good, but every item now looks and tastes the same. Also the restaurant looks and feels dated. The table was sticky and the water tasted metallic. It's too bad because we used to like this place.

We visited La Paloma in a large group. Our server was terrific...able to manage the "crowd" with remarkable efficiency. The ambience is festive and colorful. The food arrived hot and fresh...nice plate presentations as well. The complimentary chips and salsa are a nice touch. For some decent Mexican fare, check out La Paloma...😀

LaPaloma has been around for a number of years, and our absolute favorite for family and meeting friends after work for dinner. We always loved their quaint atmosphere, wonderful daily specials, the great bang for your buck, with very authentic high quality food. I cannot tell you how many people we have " turned on" to this place over the... More

We had a group of 8 or 9 together and 2 had food allergies. This in itself is a bit of a challenge, but it was met well and with a smile. Even none of the group was having a drink from the bar, even! We had multiple meals and things had to be wrapped up separately, and there were... More

I have visited La Paloma many times in the past and liked it on all occasions. There are not too Many Mexican food options around this location. So it is nice to have this one especially for quick office lunches or early evening dinners. The food is good and the service just right. I liked their veggie fajitas the most.... More

Very good food, but way overpriced. Ambiance is mediocre for the pricing. The wait staff was friendly and service was good.

This restaurant has been in Quincy, MA for a number of years. It has won food choice awards for it's traditional home made dishes. They make their own tortilla chips and salsa. The site has a southwestern feel inside. Great variety of food, drinks. Nice daily specials.

Definite go to. The Boston area does not have a lot of great Mexican restaurants. This is one of the best we have. Complimentary homemade salsa and chips (refillable). Awesome verde sauce. You can't go wrong with anything you choose.

As mentioned on many reviews this place has a very small bar, but then again most people head here for the very good Mexican food. Burrito's are huge, the salads are fresh and the chef's specials are usually very good. Great margaritas and friendly staff make this a local favorite, and a favorite for travelers, i've met many people in... More
