A nice varied menu and they just make it seem so home style. The prices are very reasonable and the quality/quantities served were generous. A great place to go with a small group of friends, family, etc..

Tried this place for the first time. We got seated right away. The service was good. The lobster roll and fries were decent. My husband didn't care for the burger. The american chop suey was ok. The onion rings were awesome. We may go back and try other food dishes.

We come here every year for our farewell lunch when we leave Quincy. They always make us welcome, the food and service are terrific. This year I had lobster roll. I never had better. The portions are big, the prices very reasonable. It's always got a good crowd of locals in which tells you something. Highly recommended.

The food was awesome and you got a lot of food for the price. Children were most satisfied. Highly recommend for a family lunch or dinner.

We've been going to Grumpy's for over 30 years. It's a longtime favorite, and on any given day, you're bound to see any number of local businessmen, politicians, and city workers enjoying lunch there. The owner always gives you a friendly greeting, as do the waitresses who have worked there for many years. We been ordering the same meals for... More

The atmosphere tends to be an older crowd, families and what I would assume to be some locals. Nice, comfortable interior. They have Keno here as well as all other MA state lottery's offerings; scratch cards (in a machine) and you can plan all big jackpot games like Powerball etc. at the bar (separate from the restaurant). The menu is... More

The staff was very friendly, and the manager came by our table and was extremely friendly and helpful, and gave us some history of the restaurant. Great Father's Day celebration with... More
