Good restaurant, with decent food just a stone's throw from 18th & Castro. The gumbo was tasty, but the noise level made it hard to enjoy a conversation.

We came in late and the place was already empty. Though we were told the kitchen was still open so we decided to stay. The menu does not give a lot of options, which sometimes is a good thing, not here though. Service was ok,...More

Went with another couple and the menu definitely changed and upgraded. Got to sit out in the back which was a change from sitting upstairs. We had Michael as a server and he was outstanding. The food choices were plentiful and the main entrees were...More

We enjoyed an intimate table upstairs. It just felt very comfortable, but still with sophistication. It was very friendly though. The waiter was down-to-earth and gave us real opinions about dishes - not boiler-plate responses. The gumbo did not disappoint. The Grilled Scottish Salmon was...More

In the heart of the Castro, this 2 story restaurant/bar with outside patio is a great place for dinner and for taking out of towners who are on a budget. The vibe is casual, too. Love those deviled eggs and fried chicken.

Very small and busy restaurant, but with a lovely atmosphere. The Welcome was warm and our server was friendly and just the right amount of attentiveness. We ordered wine and food. Odd thing, we had to ask for water and also no bread was brought...More

Stopped in hear on Saturday night as we had to meet someone in a nearby neighborhood later on and it seemed to have good reviews. We were probably early for the dinner crowd but easily got a table downstairs by the window. From the entryway...More

Nice restaurant in the heart of the Castro, reasonably priced, with a fun happy hour, with sexy and friendly Bill the bartender. Food is great--suggest the chicken or spaghetti.
