everything was terrific as far as service and food. It was difficult to get a reservation and once there, we could hardly squeeze in the door to stand packed like sardines in the tiny waiting area/bar

Stop buying crappy sandwiches for a week and with that savings, make a reservation at Frances and splurge. Delicious. Daily-changing menu. I think I had the duck confit. The steak bavette looked amazing too. Great appetizers.
