Apple and Blackberry Pie with icecream was delicious. Managed to make it here during happy hour for a $3 local beer which was a bonus. Worth a visit!

We saved room for dessert after a hefty lunch at La Taqueria. I asked the counter person what pie is the day's special. So I ordered the banana cream, and she had the walnut. Both were so out-of-this-world, fresh tasting ingredients, large, and a perfect match with their dark roast coffee. It was a memorable lunch in the colorful Mission... More

Really delicious baked stuff and good coffee here, but most depressing that chocolate pie is not available during the week.

We stumbled upon Mission Pie in this neighbourhood lined with Mexican food, and this little gem of a restaurant was a real gem. There is surprisingly great variety on the menu with soups, savoury and sweet pies, quiches, tarts, and other baked goods. We ordered a minestrone pot pie which was absolutely delicious, filled with goodies like squash and veggies... More

Had a great dinner at Mission Pie, thought it would be all pies but no, healthy salads, stew with rice and veggies and a tasty glass of red (or two) friendly, casual service and a delicious piece of strawberry and apple with ice cream to finish. Would come again

We were a party of 5 and all ordered different flavors of pie - and then passed them around so that we all got 3-4 bites of each piece. The walnut pie was good but I think the chess pie was everyone's favorite.

We popped in for takeaway dessert. Service was slow, but the banana cream pie was great - best I've had. We also had the walnut pie which was good, but I've had better.

The pies (chocolate, pecan and apple) I tasted were good but not great. The crusts were the worst part, but the fillings weren't great either. Unsweetened, low fat crusts. Filling not sufficiently seasoned. The crust ruined the sweet pies. Also had their potato pie, and the crust worked there. Maybe savory dishes better than sweet ones.

A corner cafe with old-fashioned tall windows on two sides, Mission Pie shows you the ebb and flow of the distinctive neighborhood's street life. In keeping with current foodie trends, the farms that supply the bakery are noted on a wall map for your inspection. Business was brisk when we went in for carry-out dessert pies (Shaker Lemon and Blackberry-and-Apple):... More

We weren't planning on dessert after having huge burritos just down the way... but we saw this place and couldn't resist. Pies were delicious. They even served beer and wine (hubs was impressed they served the beer in a chilled glass!).
