One of the many restaurants in San Francisco, nothing really remarkable, expect the wine, very very overpriced. The pizza is good and the staff is friendly, not sure if the city needs another replace like this.

Nice SOMA-located restaurant with excellent Italian dishes. Quickly seated (we had reservations) and overall service was friendly and efficient. Pasta with lemon crème sauce and a pizza were both very tasty and served hot and timely. Wine list is small but satisfactory. Chocolate Budino dessert...More

Returned to Zero-Zero after a few years away from SF. Had a nice quiet lunch upstairs. Had to request table out of the sun, which made that area of the restaurant hot. Staff was pleasant and accommodating, Service was a bit slow, but not too...More

We went to Zero Zero based on these reviews. We were not disappointed. The pizzas were delicious. We had a great server who was knowledgeable on the different blends of gin that they served. He forgot a salad we ordered but to be honest the...More

I went to Zero Zero on Sunday evening. I had no reservations and the tables were all busy, so I sat at the bar. I had a pizza margherita di bufala (good!) and a coke (no refill). With service, it costed me 32 USD, I...More

Came here to meet relatives from out of state. We tried several kinds of pizza, and they were all delicious. But for me, the vanilla soft serve with olive oil and sea salt was unforgettable.

We decided to try a SOMA pizzeria and Zero Zero was walking distance from the Four Seasons hotel. We started with the Broccolini in a Bagna Cauda sauce, and was yummy but dripping in oil. Coming from an Italian family that loves their bagna cauda,...More

We ate here with a variety of people, some of whom were gluten-free and vegetarian. No matter what the dietary restrictions, everybody had excellent meals. Gluten-free options included kale salad, rotini and brussels sprouts, and the kale salad was the best of the bunch. Pizzas...More

Stopped in for a dinner with coworkers and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the spaghettoni with pancetta and a spicy tomato sauce. The pasta was delicious, and the sauce had the perfect amount of flavor. The waitress also recommended the rigatoni, which one of my coworkers...More

Zero Zero is a noisy, noisy restaurant upstairs, but the food and the service is outstanding. We (3) waited about 15 minutes to be seated on a Friday night arriving at about 8:30 PM. We started with stuffed Arancini which was very tasty. Our meals...More

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated
vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs
and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to
find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter
for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able
to do more than just business - museums, top quality
restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call
this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized

Sorry so late, but it's a smaller-ish restaurant. They may upstairs, where it's a bit more open.

Probably not. From what I remember of the menu, most of it was solid italian food. Decidedly gluten replete!

Zero Zero opened in 2010 inspired by Chef Bruce Hill's dedication to farm driven ingredients, combined with his love for wood-fired pizzas that have been nicknamed "Calipolitan". Michael Bauer of the San Francisco Chronicle named us the French Laundrry of upscale pizza, and the readers of 7x7 Magazine voted us "Best Pizza in San Francisco". In addition to pizza, our menu showcases house made pastas, a variety of market-fresh appetizers, and artisan soft serve. We also have two big time bars with a selection of seasonal house cocktails, beers, and 12 wines on tap.
