Looking for a place to eat near the Financial District is tough- unless you have deep pockets on the weekend. The Ferry Building is now full of great restaurants and small eats but they don't stay open past 5pm for the most part on Sundays... but then there is Gott's ! Burgers, salads, brussell sprouts, unique eats and classics- something... More

For fast, casual and solid good food, Gotts has it. The burgers, salads, fish tacos and fries all hit the spot at this Ferry marketplace restaurant. The long line to order was intimidating at first, but it moved quickly. Gluten free buns were available for my celiac daughter who enjoyed her Texas avocado burger. The seven of us sat at... More

It was never my first choice, but it has always been a success. The line is always daunting on a beautiful afternoon, and this place is clearly a tourist trap. Yet, it works. The line moves quickly, and somehow there is always seating outside for a group of 4, even though it looks like there won't be any. I've always... More

Burgers are on par with Shake Shack or Five Guys but even more interesting combinations. I had a Kimchi burger - has kimchi and a fried egg on top with a semi-spicy sauce and bacon! So good! Burger is cooked well, nice soft chewy bun, and the other flavors were so well balanced. Drinks are refillable and I had fries... More

The burgers was really good, we had the bacon and cheese burger and a sourdough burger. Both were good, the fries was a bit boring but we did enjoy our meal here. The service was fast and efficient.

San Francisco is loaded with excellent (and expensive) restaurants. I was on a business trip and staying at the Hyatt. I walked the Embarcadero on a wonderful sunny late afternoon. Right outside the Marketplace there was a street artist playing all those great 60's and 70's songs. It was dinnertime and there was Gott's with an outside dining area. The... More

We went here for a quick lunch. The bacon cheeseburger and fries were really good and the Alabama Chicken Sandwich was amazing, it's a must if you. The onion rings were good too and not a bad price.

Gott's delivered up a really tasty burger and mahi mahi tacos. We went at 2.30pm on a Tuesday and it took about 20 minutes to be served, which seems pretty standard for San Francisco eateries. Service was friendly and efficient. They also had good kids choices.

Always worth a lunch visit when at the Ferry Building. Garlic fries are a must. Never had anything but the cheeseburger and garlic fries for the family, and it would be hard to deviate from success!

Description
Gott's Roadside is a different kind of burger joint. We serve juicy cheeseburgers with thick chocolate shakes, but our versions of these American classics are made-to-order from top-notch, locally sourced ingredients. Our menu goes beyond the beef to include a renowned Ahi tuna burger, fresh salads and tacos. Try finding those at your average drive-in. Our commitment to local sourcing also extends to the glass: our list of California wines and beers means you can order a cheeseburger with a high-end Napa Valley cabernet, or sip a San Francisco-brewed Anchor Steam alongside your spicy, sweet potato fries.
