We were staying down the street and walked over for some sushi. We had an appetizer we remember as a tuna firecracker that was great. Nice people.
The street is a little bit dangerous, the neighborhood is full of homeless. But the place is a kind of romantic, not too much light and delicious food.

I have to echo the other reviewers in complimenting Kama Sushi for the freshness of their fish and their extensive Happy Hour offerings. There were a few service issues, but the pleasant atmosphere, enthusiastic crowd, and top-notch food more than made up for those missteps....More
Great service, fresh sushi, delicious ramen -- what's not to like? Glad this is in my neighborhood, and I'd go more often if I could! Definitely worth the trip even if you're not in Noe Valley, though!
