So I heard about Una Pizza Napoletana, and unexpectedly traveling through San Francisco, I realized that I would be able to fulfill a hedonistic objective in sampling Anthony's passion and obsession.... Anthony states the dough slightly changes from day to day, so I was surprised when Anthony's wife,Ilaria Sorrentino, seemed surprised when I asked, which topping would complement the dough... More

Una Pizza Napoletana mixes the real Italian pizza recipe in a San Francisco environment. Classy, kinda of industrial, really nice if you enjoy this type of place. I personally liked the fact that you don't get to choose things that are not on the menu. Great pizza, but very expensive. If you don't mind spending a few bucks, definitely a... More

My wife and I have returned to Una Pizza after a 3 year absence and we're not disappointed, the magic that made this pizza amazing in NJ and New York city is still there! We have been fans of Una Pizza since it's early days some 20 years ago, are only disappointment is that we live in NJ, but after... More

We spent a lot of time in Italy earlier this year, including an extended stay in Naples, so when SFist came out with a "25 best" list of pizzerias, we thought it would be fun to try them all. Una Pizza Napoletana is the real thing, all right - made the right way, ingredients sourced from the slopes of Vesuvius,... More

Singular focus on Neapolitan style pizzas with high quality ingredients. I'm not a fan of the puffy crust but that's simply a personal preference. The attention to detail, craftsmanship and ingredients is very high.

This pizza is fantastic! Perfect thin crust with delicious flavor, sauce is tasty and seasoned beautifully so you can taste the tomatoe. The margharita pizza is our favorite with a delicate blend of tomatoe and mozzarella. Love this! It's pricey but worth it. Agree that the service is slow but it's part of the charm of this family owned and... More

We had a wonderful meal at Una Pizzeria Napoletana last week. It was our first time to the restaurant and there were several thing I noticed immediately that need commenting... 1) It's in a fairly uninteresting part of town, but it works. 2) It's a cool, industrial space, but it works. 3) It was chilly in the restaurant. Dress a... More

I had heard mixed reviews before coming here. But after really heavy lunch, me and my wife were still enjoying every bite of both of our pizza. We had ordered a Filetti and margherita. Dough was perfect and pizza tasted like heaven. Anytime worth a trip for simple yet great tasting pizza.

The pizza at this place is good, but it's not $25 good. Service was slow and disinterested; I was there with three friends, two of our pizzas arrived 15 mins after the other two, with no apology. Alcohol was also very overpriced ($26 for 750ml of beer? Behave.) Wouldn't go back.

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
