Wonderful small batch, handmade on site ice cream in eclectic imaginative flavors. We visited the Mission District location.

Secret Breakfast... can you guess? It's vanilla ice cream with corn flakes and bourbon. Haha. The sorbets are to die for. These folks make ice cream an art and craft, flavors change all the time. Go, check it out. You'll be glad you did.

OK, I am a self-professed ice cream connoisseur...and there are at least several excellent places to get homemade, gourmet ice cream in San Francisco, never mind within 0.5 mile radius from my house....and my very favorite flavor of all time is Humphry Slocombe's Secret Breakfast. This is their signature flavor, and it is very yummy. I am not going to... More

At the beginning I felt "disappointed" as the place looked small and the range of offered Gellato limited. Well I am glad to say that I was wrong. The ice cream (and the toppings) were fantastic. No diet ... on that date (although they do have a limited fat option). I strongly recommend to visti it.

Really good ice cream seller, with several locations and highly original flavors. Prices are not cheap but still worth queuing up for a precious scoop.

We tried several flavours during our three weeks staying nearby. Our clear favourite was Blackberry Crisp, (or was it Crunch?) We bought a big tub for a family dessert. Sadly, it seemed to be discontinued, so we could only have it twice! They seem to change their flavours quite regularly.

Last time we walked by the line was too long. This time it was shorter and manageable. There are many unusual flavors that they will let you taste. We ended up with the vanilla, strawberry (best ever) and peanut butter fudge. They were all awesome. Worth the splurge

Ordered 3 scoops of blue bottle Vietnamese coffee (2) and dark chocolate caramel sea Salt with a cone. Split with partner and sat outside the sidewalk table. Cool afternoon break after walking around mission don't strict.

After we tasted many of the products, I sadly decided that I would sadly exclude Secret Breakfast from my final list and I went with "Princess Project" Pink Lemonade. It was the creamiest, most refreshing sorbet that I ever had, and I almost went back for seconds!

Thank Ramsey-Murphy
