You have to try Boudin's clam chowder! It is delicious and I am not exaggerating! I am not from the US so I've never heard of this food before but I am really glad I tried it first there.

The clam chowder bread bowl is really tasty. The sourdough bread is special and delicious. Boudin at the Fisherman’s Wharf it’s a good address if you like to eat something special and don’t want to spend lots of time. The service was quick and friendly.

My wife and I came here for the first time to get some pastries as we were told it was so good. It did not disappoint. We bought some bread and a sticky bun. We also loved seeing the bread baskets going around the store....More

Quick lunch stop on Pier 39. First trip for some in the family so we had to do the bread bowls. Anything less would not have been Pier 39! And if you are going to have bread bowls, you should really have them at Boudin!

A delicious masterpiece in a great artisanal bakery, in front of Fisherman's Water and near Pier 39 in San Francisco. With an intersting bakery museum worth of a visit.

Chowder is very good. Definitely recommended. There isn’t much chowder though. The bread itself is quite big so would be better if they could increase the chowder volume. Ordered the mixed taco which comes with 1 x grilled fish and 1 x chicken. Both tastes...More

Bread tours, animal bread, great lunch, fun gift shop, divine treats! Try the amazing lemon bar, the bear claw, the almond croissant, the clam chowder and the chicken salad sandwich. Service isn't great, but it's passable. You can buy specialty chocolate and chukar cherries! So,...More

Every time somebody mentions clam chowder, this place comes to mind. I had a wonderful experience the first time I ate in this place. We traveled to Seattle and along the way ate chowder in places that serves the dish. Sad to say, it’s not...More

I do not know and I tried to check their web site, but did not see anything about gluten-free items. I found their menu by googling it along with their web site.
