Great stop for breakfast though there were queues even midweek but it is worth the wait for the croissants, pastries and bread & butter pudding.

Jesus. I've never seen so many people lining and waiting for almost an hour for pastries. You smell the cream and sugar when you walk close to the bakery. Their most popular pastry is frangipane croissant. Its almond flakes and almond cream gives it a...More

We had the best breakfast in San Francisco here. Great coffee, pastries and their brioche bread pudding is a great way to start the day. Busy busy busy, a short queue waiting outside but it clears quickly. Just a cool spot to hang out. Thanks.

The bread and paste ties are really worth the long line. No other bread compares to Tartine! They don't use anything that isn't pure and local. Even the yeast that m Jed the bread rise is just from the beginning air.

The bread pudding is to die for with seasonal flavorings - summer time berries and peaches now available!

And worth the wait. If more restaurants made Quiche like this I would eat it all the time - fluffy, eggy, yet firm enough, and delicious (crust was perfect). Usually Quiche is over cooked to me. The savory scone was mouth watering, don't see these...More

We got a phone call from my daughter to meet her at Tartine Bakery when we enjoyed the city view from Twin Peak. We didn't expect much this place because we don't like sweets. They were still on the line waiting to get in the...More
