In a discussion of pizza the other day, I was raving about Frank Pepe's pies in New Haven, Ct. My California hosts admitted that there are starting to be new fire cooked pizzas in San Francisco, but that until I'd tried a few California Pizzas,...More

We went to a pre-nuptial dinner here, so we didn't order off the menu, our food was pre-ordered. We had salads and pizza, the pizza especially was delicious, unusual and fresh ingredients. My favorite was the basil pizza.

Ordered 3 large and 2 medium pizzas: pesto was the most popular, Italian, pancetta , meat and veggie was the least popular since there was not that much veggies. The crust however was excellent. Appetizers were meatballs. Two carafes of red wine were shared. Most...More

Our first night in San Francisco and we were hungry and tired after traveling all day. Pauline's was delicious. Great atmosphere and service. I would highly recommend the Pesto pizza.

We really really enjoyed our pizza here. Loved the specials with the unusual in-season toppings. We had both the meat and the vegetarian special and they were wonderful. Thin base, light and fluffy crust, super tasty. The homemade sausage was excellent! Would definitely go back.

Awesome unique pizzas made from all organic ingredients, many from the owner's garden. You may not know what all the ingredients are on the vegi or meat specials but worry not they will be great. They also have an wine bar next door and serve...More

I used to love this pizza place and visited on every trip to SF. Last evening we arrived and were greeted with a bunch of lies. First the waitress told us it would be an hour wait. Then she offered to seat us in the...More

Stumbled into this cute place since I found parking right in front of the restaurant which isn't easy in SF. The service was great and everyone is very attentive and friendly. Had a pizza and ordered a large for 2 people so I can take...More

OK, maybe I am just not a pizza gourmet, which you probably should be to truly appreciate the pizza here. Went here with my husband, daughter and her boyfriend and although the woodfired pizzas with imaginative toppings were very good, the price was a shocker....More
