Great selection of food trucks all in one spot. Nice upbeat music with dj. Was packed with people and restrooms are a walk away in building B. Also limited seating so be ready to eat standing. Overall a fun activity for a Friday night.

We have food truck parks where I'm from, but nothing like this! I don't know how it is on nights other than opening night, but we happened to be here at just the right time. There was a DJ, radio stations, and live music for entertainment, plus 30 trucks and tents with a whole assortment of cuisine. This is an... More

Went in February. Was pretty excited for it but is not open in winter. It was a shame as there were so many people out and about.

Stopped by here in late September when it was a bit cool, but they had heat lamps going. I got the mulled wine (long wait and a bit pricey, but a great handwarmer) and deconstructed samosa from Curry Up Now, which was delicious and fast. It was a little hard to get seating and you had to be pretty quick... More

Flew into SFO, checked into hotel and went straight to this cool spot found on TripAdvisor. What a neat atmosphere. Granted had a perfect weather night - 65 & clear skies. But there were lots of people, great, various food trucks and beer/wine/liquor, along with a live band, to enjoy while trying various foods. Lines get long the longer the... More

Was in SF for a conference, and a buddy recommended Off the Grid. Couldn't have been happier. There were nearly 20 options for dinner, snacks, desserts, and drinks. I arrived a bit late (the trucks close around 10pm, and I arrived around 8:30), and there was only one type of beer left. Settled for wine instead and had a great... More

I tried Koja Kitchen and Korean Bob Cha. The portions are generous. Lots of food trucks and vendors to choose from. Best to arrive early at 5pm to avoid the crowds.

I stumbled upon Off the Grid during a stroll with my husband. It was great! They had all kinds of food, so there was something for everyone. I thought it was cool that they had a donut truck when we went. There was live music and food trucks everywhere. It was a lot of fun!

Super fun. 20 or do food trucks, beer, wine, cocktails, a band, what's more to want? Down by the water in the marina district, so you can see that down there as well. Much more fun then just eating at a restaurant.

Amazing atmosphere, street food, live music, ale and cocktails! What more do you need, also a massive hipster hangout so bring a beard!

Thank Paul M

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
