We were at Ocean Beach Park and Googled, "seafood restaurants nearby". This one came up (although it wasn't that "nearby" - but we had Muni Passes, so it was easy to take the bus). It's a very cute, neighborhood restaurant (more of a neighborhood institution,...More

The one nice thing is that they are always busy after they open so they give you a glass of wine while you wait. The waiting area is small and a few chairs outside. Parking can be a challenge. The salmon was good but not...More

I prefer more challenging food, but it is fine for what it is. Better than the Red Lobster and Arthur Treachers.

Visited midweek around 7pm and had at most a 10 minute wait to be seated. Service was outstanding, food was delicious, with generous portions cooked to perfection. Declined dessert but they brought a us a sample anyway to encourage us next time!

I ordered the fried oysters and they were overcooked and bitter. I suspect the frying oil they used was too old. The same for the sand daps ordered by the another person in our group. The broccoli side was also tasteless and undercooked. However the...More

We enjoy coming once a month when in town for over 30 years; we look forward to the fresh seafood, delicious fresh sourdough and meals come with soup or salad. Although lines are long the complimentary glass of wine makes the wait more comfortable. Hint:...More

Oh I am so sorry to tell you that they are only open for dinner. They open at 5 pm. And I believe part of the fun is drinking wine on line while you wait your turn to be seated. No reservations. Hope you get to go... More

Dungeness crab. Market price, which will seem high if you're accustomed to frozen. A really good value for crab-lovers is the baked snapper in parchment with a shrimp and crab topping.
