We were headed to Burma Superstar and my husband decided to ask an Asian grocer for his recommendation! Ended up here and will be back. Shared the Tom Yom soup. Beautiful with fresh mushrooms bobbing in the medium spicy broth. Ginger fish with veggies was also good. Lots of locals. And looked like repeat diners. Good recommendation

This review is for the King of Thai Cuisine #2 on Clement St. & 5th Avenue. Went there for lunch with 2 other friends. Was there at about 1:00 p.m. and did not have to wait for a table. We ordered the traditional Thai dish, Pad Thai, as well as the Pumpkin Red Curry Chicken and the Pineapple Fried Rice.... More

Decent, if not memorable Thai cuisine. We came here when a restaurant across the street that we wanted to go to had a super long wait. I'm not even 100% sure exactly what we ordered, but it was a curry and a pad see ewe or a pad thai dish. The service left a little to be desired... They were... More

As you walk in, the toppings are laid out at the front counter. Friendly Thai staff seat you and helo yo decide on your choice. My beef noodles were amazing. My dining partner had the noodles with roast duck which I also tasted. It was very nice as well. The broth is flavorful and well spiced. I cleaned my nowl.... More

Good luck figuring the names out online. These are owned by the same owner? Anyhoo I really wanted to like these guys because hey late night Thai food yeah I want that. Unclear if the menus are different. Doesn't matter, both serve average, boringly seasoned food. Not bad, just not anything you ever want to try again. Then there's the... More

This is a review of what is now known as King's Thai Cuisine #1 at 639 Clement St. There is a second outpost called King's Thai Cuisine #2 at 346 Clement St as well! Apparently the name change is circa January 2014. Anyway, my partner and I rocked up here on an interenet recommendation as being somewhere near where we... More

When I worked night shift, this was the only restaurant that was open til 2:00am. We would send a runner to pick up meals for everyone. Today, I just go for a treat if I have cravings for Thai food. Come by if you are in the Clement area in SF. They also have one near Macys downtown SF. There... More

We were planning to go to Burma superstar across the road which is excellent but there was a 60 minute wait. Across the street we found king of Thai moderately busy but excellent in every way on the food choices. Ranked High. Quality very good Would return yes Staff friendly Prices very reasonable

We were driving down the street, looking for a place to have lunch. The sign and storefront looked inviting. The menu is extensive; detailed descriptions and ingredients are listed for each item. We chose GANG JUED WOON-SEN SOUP, CHICKEN SA-TAY and HOR-JOR. Portions were HUGE (the soup is intended for 2 people to share) and everything was VERY Thai authentic... More
