My first nite in the bay, and my friend found this place to eat with our kids, and we were pleasantly surprised, the hummus was so good my daughter couldn't get enough of it with warm pita bread, the flavors were amazing. we had little bit of everything.

La Mediterranee has been serving delicious Middle Eastern food for decades & we've never had a bad experience there. The food is always delicious & the servers are very friendly & efficient.

Met my Noe-dwelling friend here for lunch recently. This is a small cafe without table service. A decent array of omelets, sandwiches, etc. Strong coffee.

Just stopped by for s light lunch and went for the lentil salad and a beer, my wife had lentil soup and a cider. All excellent and the salad had plenty of nice leaf (no iceberg in sight!) plus lentils, feta, carrot, tomato and a nice dressing. They prepare everything fresh on site and it shows. Prices very reasonable and... More

Every time I am in SF I make a bee line for this place. Consistent, comfy, love the street/people watching and love the food. Always a perfect 10 on the food no matter the day of the week or time of day I have gone. Great value, friendly service and just really, really good food.

Middle Eastern food done right, this neighborhood institution has been serving delicious hummus, falafels, lamb and chicken, and a incredible salads for over 20 years. It has survived this long because it's so good, and reasonably priced. If your visiting, come here and eat like a local.

This little place serves phenominal food, and is a little off the beaten path! Everything was tasty, beautifully served, and not at all expensive.

Stumbled upon this gem and I must say I thought the food wasn't going to be quite as amazing as it was. I got the Mediterranean plate that featured one item from all the entrees, man out of this world. The dessert was even better. Great prices.

Went there with my wife. Ordered the Mediterranean Meza which gives you a taste of everything on the menu. The service wasn't exemplary but neither was it poor. It seemed a little detached as the only interfacing with wait staff was the ordering and check portion of the night. Getting asked for additional water occurred after the meal was basically... More

As a resident of San Francisco, I have eaten many times here. The food is fantastic middle eastern food. Always very tasty, especially like the chicken pomegranate and selections of fillo dishes. Good choice is middle eastern plate which gives you a sample of several items. Can either take out or eat in the small but charming dining room. I... More
