Best meal we had in San Francisco and only $30 for 3 courses!! Cocktails only $5 for happy hour! I'd eat here every night for dinner if I lived here. I had the grilled calamari appetizer and halibut, both were fantastic, but the halibut was probably the best piece of fish I ever had. I tried the grapefruit granite and... More

The family and I enjoyed a great set course dinner at Isa. We arrived early and we immediately taken to our seats. It was great finding parking right across the street and since the meter was broken we did not need to worry about time limits. Since there was five of us we got to order a big variety of... More

The food is truly amazing-venue excellent but unfortunately our experience was spoilt by an altercation regarding the gratuities! We were disappointed and somewhat intimidated by our up to then excellent and friendly waiter-to such an extent that we felt unable to pass him to leave! Enjoy your evening but expect to be told how much 'tip' and pay it!

Went to Isa for date night and were not disappointed. The appetizers (fresh crab salad and tuna tartar) were excellent, fresh, delicious, and large enough to share. Note that tune is on the spicy side. The main courses were likewise superb. Highly recommended.

A group of 8 of us visited Isa on a Saturday night during SF Restaurant week and had a wonderful time. We made our reservations over 2 weeks in advance and was able to get an 8:15p reservation which was a bit later than we'd like to have dinner but we opted for it as we wanted to try the... More

I just attended a wedding rehearsal dinner here and we all had so much fun. The food was delicious and the special drink I tried (No. 7) was so tasty. The staff was very accommodating and the even flowed smoothly.

Tremendous service and food. One of my new favorite San Francisco eateries. We did the 3 course prix fixe menu and would that again.

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
