To each his own but think for many families this will not be a great spot for fams with teens. Would be quite nice for couples. Old school waiters with lots of experience and knowledge, although I did hear a few contradictions regarding the origins...More

My family has been eating at Scoma’s for over 20 years. Every time I visit SF we have to get their clam chowder: the best I have had. They also still have the old school hospitality; valet car parking. I recently took my daughter here;...More

Scoma’s came recommended by several people. While kind of pricey, it was delicious and worth the experience. In the fisherman’s wharf area, it is a tourist haven, so be prepared for crowds. Good service and good atmosphere.

Without any doubt, number 1 in SFO for seafood. The problem is not to select, it is to decide. My favorite for so many years in a row...

Scones us always busy, so I would arrive early, otherwise you will have to sit in the bar. Also I'm not sure they take reservations, except for groups

Scoma's is a San Francisco icon and the only restaurant located in Fisherman's Wharf with a working 46 foot fishing boat. Freshness and high quality are the main reasons the restaurant has been successful for more than 50 years. Whether guests want to watch the commercial fishing boats in action or enjoy the view of the Bay from the cocktail lounge, come in an join the Scoma's family for one of the best dining experiences San Francisco has to offer.
