I ordered the pad Thai with beef. It was spicy like I requested and the presentation was excellent. Hot tea was flavorful. Spotless and clean restaurant. I will be back.

This little place has great food. We found it on open table and went on a whim but we got a table at the window so we could people watch. The service was good, food was amazing, wine was cheap...can't beat it.

Love this restaurant. I found the food especially appealing and the presentation perfect. I would definitely try the Almond Tofu. This dish is tasty and unique. The service is polite and efficient. The place itself was quite and unhurried.

We visited this little restaurant in the early evening on the way back to our hotel after a full day sight seeing, as we were just looking for an informal meal before crashing out for the night. Being mid week it was quite quiet to start with but soon began to get busy with both other diners and regulars coming... More

Went on a late night in search of pad Thai, found it. Cute little restaurant with a lovely settling but I got takeaway. Reasonably priced good food, worth checking out.

Visited here on a pitstop to San Fran, based on Tripadvisor reviews and the fact it was close to our hotel. It was almost empty when we arrived however it was a Sunday evening and lots of people came in and out for takeaway. We ordered potstickers and springrolls as a starter to share, and we got 8 springrolls and... More

The food was simply delicious! It was very fresh. I had a lunch plate of rice noodles with beef, tomatoes and basil. My friend ordered a lunch plate - chicken in coconut pumpkin sauce with potatoes and a bowl of white rice. I tried it and it was splendid! The prices are very good for San Francisco - $8.95 each... The food here is authentic and very yummy. It can be a romantic place in the evening and late at night, good to hang out and have a good cocktail, kid friendly, and Jasmine rice to die for.

We were walking by and stopped for a lunch break. Place was cute, quiet, clean, efficient, and had attentive staff. We had basil fried rice and peanut sauce chicken--both were quite good. Wasn't packed for lunch, but had some locals (it seemed) eating while we were there. Prices struck us as affordable for San Francisco. Seemed like takeout was an... More

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
