In town and a friend took me here as one of their regular pubs/watering holes (strange that it is called a "bistro" because it is certainly more like a pub). Amazing selection of beers on tap. I had fish and chips and it was very good. Good choice if you are nearby.

We found this place online. What a gem! As I am Czech and my boyfriend Russian and we live in US, we always try to find places with our cuisine. It's not to big, just the right size. They have amazing selection of beers. The food was to die for. I will definitely come back if we visit San Francisco... More

A small European style bar that could be easy to pass by, however, if you make the choice to walk in you surely won't regret it. It is just up the street from the popular brewery/restaurant Barrelhead, but has much more of an authentic local atmosphere. Their imported draft list is endless and gives you a taste of Europe. Also,... More

Biggest selection of European beers I've ever seen! Pub is fresh, bright. Stumbled on this place with my wife in residential neighborhood near Golden Gate Park while out biking/touristing. Stopped in for a burger n beer, both very good. Good service, good food, young crowd, Fun.

This is a basically a pub. You should think 'eastern european.' A bunch of european beers, sauerkraut, potatoes......Our host had us try beef tongue - which was good. The bartender is your server. No desserts.

Ambiance: A bistro. Large bar, crowded tables, large TV screens showing sports (but without sound), somewhat loud recorded music, that was turned down at request. Noise: Loud with conversation, as expected. Food: Hearty Central European dishes. A green salad for two, beef goulash, and stuffed cabbage. Not gourmet fare but quite tasty. Beverages: A large selection of foreign and domestic... More

For anyone that was upset about the closing of Old Krakow in West Portal years ago, rest assure, this place has quality polish food! Aside from that, crafy russian dishes and others alike. With an array of rare european beers on tap and in the bottle, you can't go wrong. Come here for a soccer match, League or Champions/Europa League.... More
