We had lunch at Kushi Tsuru. Their bento box lunches are not too expensive and of average to good quality. The service is fast and professional. A good choice for a quick inexpensive lunch during a visit to Japan town.

A rainy day adventure in SF's Japantown looking for a quaint place for lunch! Seriously recommend the Bento box selection where you can add two (2) entrees!!! $10.95 for lunch. A superb deal! Service was great!!

After waiting for over 2.5 hours to have a few documents submitted for certification at the Chinese Consulate, a much needed break was in place. The God of Food & Fortune smiled upon me, as I was near the San Francisco Japantown Mall which was across the street from the Consulate. So I went over there for a much needed... More

Nice little restaurant inside the mall in Japantown. Not a lot of seating, but the food was very good. The service was a little slow, but not a deal breaker.

Great, great and great, talking about surrounding (Japanese Center), food taste and service. Recommend the bowls which feed an entire family or a starving tourist after several hours of San Francisco exploration.

We only tried the ramen and we loved it! We split 1 order of the chasyu ramen and it was already enough for the 2 of us.

Fast, delicious Japanese food. Enjoyed every bit of my food. Service could be better. There were air fans in a few places for making place cooler so we had to move to a different spot for convenience, it didn't look very appealing. The place was not super clean too.

After a day at Muir Woods, we found this place and read about how the owner will ask your preferences and then cook up as many dishes as you want. He also says if you don't think it's the best food you've eaten you don't have to pay. Well, everything was delicious and we were happy to pay for such... More

Seated looking into the kitchen. Waitress seemed puzzled as to what to do and what was served. Made and error on the bill and voided it. Calamari Teppan was delicious and tender. Not much atmosphere.
