Nothing is really inexpensive in SF, but I found the breakfast at this updated, somewhat kitschy diner a bit expensive for what it offered. That said, the offerings were diverse and the breakfast quite a decent size. It is obviously a popular place with tourists and for those visitors who have never eaten in a diner, it is a fun... We went here once as a family (2 adults, 2 kids). The food was ok, the service was good, it felt rather gimmicky, not truly genuine.

I stayed opposite Lori's and it genuinely is open 24 hours a day. Had to have breakfast there, typical diner food of corned beef hash, but everything I expected it to be. Loved the place.

I went here with my brother. He loves this diner and says he visits each time he is in San Francisco. The food was good; I had pancakes on one occasion and french toast on another. The were both good. I like that they warm the syrup. My brother order various egg/omelette dishes and raved about how perfectly they were... More

Jet lag meant a 5am breakfast. Extensive menu for a diner. Great food, coffee and service. Be warned the portions are huge

Have been here for a similar burger as in Mel's a couple of days ago. Basic idea the same indeed, but the food was much better here. Interior and overall "50's feeling" was more authentic here as well. If you're looking for that experience, skip Mel's and visit this place! Conveniently close to Union Square. Tip: if you're willing to... More

This place was just fine, but nothing special. The service was great, but the building was a little tired. Does not highlight local cuisine.

We arrived and it was a Saturday evening. Everything had long long waits so we opt to go here and get pizza. Pizza was yummy. They had wine and beer no alcohol. But we enjoyed the pizza.

Food correct but really rude staff. Our waiter (Saul) brought us a dirty spoon and did not even apology. He was super rude with us during the whole dinner. If this as%*ole serves you you should better run away !!!
