Convenient location with great choices also good selections for catering lunches as well as one off snacks during the afternoon. The deli options are phenomenal and there's a few areas for eat-in so if you're visiting the SFMOMA, MoAD, SF History society this is all adjacent to the quaint deli for a quick snackie. This is a great choice if... More

So glad that we found this place! It is a great place for a quick sandwich. Food was very good! Even has a small little Italian grocery.

It was so great, I ate here twice! Was in San Fran for the Dreamforce Conference. Located only a few blocks from the Moscone Center, this was sort of a hidden gem, busy but not overcrowded like every other place in the immediate area. A huge assortment of fresh, prepared, italian/mediterranean foods. Sandwiches, Antipasti, salads, etc. Reasonably priced for a... More

Nice place for Italian grocery snd sandwiches. There is a large communal table plus seating by the windows. Had the ham and fig jam sandwich plus prosciutto and cheese for brunch .

I have to confess, I'm a regular here, I often eat sandwiches here. They also do a good selection of salads. I have only stayed here to eat once as I usually take the food away. I will return. Well worth a visit if you are in the Laurel Heights area.

I hoped to get a sandwich but they don't offer them or a place to eat the sandwich, or anything else to take that place. The groceries offered are also not worth looking at. Dont go there.

This place has a real buzz about it. It's really busy at lunchtime, with people willing to queue to take away and eat in. But the service is quick and friendly and no one seems to mind a short wait. We shared a BLT and chocolate torte - fabulous.

I love to find great spots on the road and this is one. AG Ferari is a can't miss sandwich, cheese, wine and more shop! I had the fantastic turkey, fig and Brie sandwich and my wife has the classic Italian for our drive to Napa! Ok, so we couldn't wait for the drive and ate them in the hotel... More

I like this places for their gourmet sandwiches. I find their prices on the high side, but I'm never disappointed.

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
