We went as a group and didn't feel welcome at this place even for once. It's self service place, waiters weren't very friendly to take more orders. Open kitchen view which looked very unhygienic. Finally when it comes to food again I was disappointed. Almost every dish tasted same and mostly tasteless.

You can get many typical dishes, which get you full for a low price ($12). The food is actually tasty, for the price.

Food was very tasty, though the service was slow as there was only 1 cook. Ambiance is not so great, but worth stopping after doing so much walk in downtown. Close to Union square

The food was delicious, though the place itself is deceiving. I was in San Fran on business and searched local restaurant blogs extensively for recommended Indian restaurants. This one came up a lot, so I trekked almost 20 blocks from my hotel to get to this restaurant. It is definitely off the tourist path and in a residential area. The... More

It was a hole in the wall restaurant next door to the Admiral Hotel where we stayed. We ordered the curry and it was excellent and reasonably priced.

We love this place and go almost every weekend! The lamb biryani is just yum! Also recommend the lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala and their garlic naan is Delish! Yes the location is not the best but seriously it's worth it! Just go and you will see what I mean!

Great food and nice place to hang out. We were a group of 4 people. We all loved our food. I ate the chicken saag and enjoyed it very much. The garlic naan was also very good. We stayed there for about 2 hours and hung out there. The place is a good size and could probably have a decent... More

The first time I went here I was blown away by the flavors. Really flavorful and lip-smacking. The second time, it was just OK. Well, not even that to be honest. It is often packed, so I guess you have to pick your days carefully.

Fast service, fresh food and free chai! All 4 dishes were delicious, but it's a serve yourself situation (waiters don't bring you water/cutlery etc) very casual. 4 of us ate, 4 curries, 2 naan, 2 rice for $60 which felt expensive for a vegetarian meal in such a casual setting.

We ordered Naan, Biryani, Chicken Tikka masala and Boti Tikka. After a bad experience from Pakwan. We were a little skeptical. The food was delicious and enough quantity to feed 4 adults and three toddlers. A must place to go and eat
