This is a great neighborhood French bistro that serves a great meal at very good prices. At the moment, there is a tax season special (expiring after April 27) serving a salad or escargot and and entree(select list from regular menu) for a bargain price of $20.17 (as in the year 2017). After this date, they will return to a... More

Authentic French. Small, quaint decor. Friendly chef owner. Fairly priced, particularly the specials. The service was friendly although not efficient. We had several errors. This is not the norm as I have dined here several times prior and had excellent service. The food is delicious. The beef short ribs and the beef bourgeoisie were wonderful. It is a small neighborhood... More

Nice neighborhood atmosphere with excellent food and service. It is small and cozy, which makes it a bit noisy but good nevertheless.

Best to book in advance otherwise you just wont get a table at this lovely but tiny little french bistro. It has a very authentic and friendly feel about it. The menu is quite varied but mainly focussing on mean and fish dishes. The winner out of our meal was the cassoulet, which was absolutely wonderful. Something i will order... More

Ditto Michael B's review (and other positive comments as well). A gem of a neighborhood bistro. Even on this Saturday night, crowded, busy, tight space, this place has all the aura of its cousins in Paris. Food - my salmon, my spouses veggie plate, our friends' entrees- were excellent. Service was unobtrusive, prompt, friendly. The hostess, Rinn, was a marvel... More

Nice food. Expensive, and unbearably stuffy and hot. No air movement unless the front door is open and the guests by the Dutch door allow it to be opened. No ceiling fans which would at least allow some air movement and provide a bit of comfort to the diners. Our wait person apologized and empathized with us. They indicated it... More

Le P'tit Laurent is located in the small Glen Park neighborhood "village" and has an authentic French bistro atmosphere and delicious food. The space is small, so tables are close together -- but that is also typical of a French bistro. Full bar, nice wine list, caraffes of house wine, and authentic French dishes. Service is very friendly, but can... More

The cassoulet is worth the trip. The restaurant is a bit cramped but adequate. Like many SF restaurants, it can be noisy for quiet conversation. Since it is easily accessible from Glen Park Bart, you don't have to worry about paqrking.

My family and I frequent Le P'tit Laurent often, eating here once or twice a month. The food is consistently fantastic and the service staff are always willing to accommodate us. If you are visiting for the first time save room for the pain perdue desert, it's phenomenal.
