Went here for a birthday dinner last week. We were very pleased with the ambiance and the food. One of us had eaten here before so had an idea what was good. The corn is special and the pork shank was spectacular. Staff are friendly and unpretentious. Its located in the Bernal Heights area of town so parking can be... More

Good authentic Peruvian food. Selection of land and seafood dishes. The quinoa crusted shrimp outstanding! Duck with rice was great too. Taking 1 star off as service was a little spotty.

The ceviche pescado was tasty. Shrimp cake was okay. Braised short ribs in a red wine sauce with mashed potatoes was pretty good, although I thought it was missing a kick of something. The seafood paella was only alright. I thought the portion size was pretty small for an entree. The pork adobo looked pretty much like the braised short... More

Dined here on the recommendation from the owner of this ur B and B in half moon bay. It was just up the main road from our place. The ambiance, the food, the service , menu .ll everything was near perfect. We remarked that this was one of the finest meals we've ever enjoyed while on vacation. I cannot stress... More

Piqueos is in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, which borders the Mission District. We went for dinner. The restaurant is small but not too loud. The Red Sangria is some of the best I've had. And every dish was very tasty: the cebiche mixto, hongos, scallops ficho, camarones crocante (all small plates), and the lomito al jugo. I... More

The rate the place with a 2 of 5, the food taste is a 5 but with so many other detractors it is much lower. Parking on the street is very difficult to find, the music is laud, it is hard to have a conversation, although I requested the volume to be turned down, they did not. The place was... More

This place is very memorable to me because it is one of the first places my boyfriend took me when we were still dating. A hidden gem of a neighborhood restaurant in Bernal Heights with delightful Peruvian Food. Get the piqueos or appetizers which is what they are known for and share it with the table: ~Ceviche Mixto - mix... More

My first time eating Peruvian food and I have to say, it will not be my last. This is a small very hip restaurant that has an extensive small plate menu and a great selection of main meals. I dined with a group of 6 adults and so we shared many of small plates available. Everything I tasted was delicious.... More

Nice neighborhood restaurant in Bernal Heights. Our table of four ordered tapas to share and the Aji de Gallina and Short ribs were our favorite. The food is beautifully presented and flavorful. Reservations are recommended since it is a small restaurant.
