We went for lunch after visiting the Andrew Johnson home and they were hopping. We, of course, had the beans, which you can get straight up, with a potato from the beef stew or mixed with the beef stew. The beans come with cornbread, which is good and the beans are good as well. We also shared the burger Hobart... More

Food is very good, great priced, friendly staff, but do not eat here often due to horrible parking area.

Excellent food. Awesome nostalgia. Nice people. A jewel of Greeneville. I personally recommend what I call the 1/2 & 1/2. You'll get some soup beans, beef stew, and cornbread...

Restrictive hours and limited menu. Parking is not easily accessible or adequate. Locals seem to love it.

May wife and I ate there for lunch. The service is great and the food is awesome. Quaint setting like an old general store

Has great little burgers made on a flat top and crinkle fries. Good for a nostalgic stop with hundreds of old signs and product tins.

This is another of the great hole in. The wall restaurant (read greasy spoon) everything on the menu is from scratch and taste just like Grandma cooked it.

First of all, I am biased about the bean barn because I was raised not only in Greeneville but with the owners of the bean barns kids. I remember going to the barn for lunch from high school wondering if I was going to be late to 4th period but also knowing if I was late it was worth it.... More

The beans all the way (with some of their homemade beef broth and a potato) are the BEST! If you are a soup beans fan, don't miss this place!!
