Yes, I think Toby Keith wrote the song about a bar like this. Always enjoy The Rio when we visit Moab. It is a local's bar, come as who you are. The greatest music on the planet can be found on the jukebox here. Merl Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, etc. I wish my town had... More

as we got off of work mostly every night, we loved the atmosphere and workers that made us feel welcome :) there was a place to hang out on top of the bar which we always bring friends to hang out.

I ordered a manhattan. After a long delay, I was told they couldn't make one because they had run out of sweet vermouth. How a bar can run out of a basic ingredient is beyond me. There was a state store a couple of blocks away. But I suppose it was partly my fault: you probably shouldn't go into an... More

Ate here twice, and both times the food was excellent and with prices to match. Very friendly staff, good music and a good choice of beers. Would definitely recommend Rio.

This venue is amazingly accommodating to the Moab Pride crew. Hosting after parties several nights in a row. The bar is always packed, but the service remains decent. Their support of the local community makes this an A+ venue in my book.

The Rio is a great sports bar with very friendly wait staff. Best seats are at the bar. The food looked really good. Too bad we ate before we got there.

After visiting parks all day a lot of the main road restaurants were full of tourists so my husband found this pub to watch the game. We had $2 drafts, excellent bowl of homemade chili (made with hint of jalapeño but not too hot) and excellent crisp chicken wings (honey siracha -good choice). Staff was friendly.

Thank Karen R
