There are so many other places in Moab that are much better. But, if you don't want to wait, the food is edible. Service was ok. They are stingy on items other places would just provide you more without charging you (garlic bread). Don't recommend it.

Wonderful little restaurant on main street in Moab. Nice atmosphere. They have a variety of typical Italian dishes and some with a southwest flare. I tried the green chili ravioli and was blown away. Large tables can fit big groups. Visited in August so crowds weren't as large as in spring or fall.

We go to Moab every year and always eat at Pasta Jay's at least one night. Service was OK. Very noisy, especially if you are unlucky to be seated near a large family with small children. The most disappointing part was the food. Tasteless! Previously we enjoyed eating at Pasta Jay's. Now I think they just open a can. Probably... More

I had walked past this place many times before deciding to stop for lunch recently. Now it's on my list of places in Moab to revisit. My wife had eggplant parmigiana and I had a meatball sandwich. She had a wine and I had a Peroni beer. This was a very nice lunch. You can eat inside or out. We... More

I was there for dinner. I had the Pasta of the day with meatballs. The Pasta was perfectly cooked, not too hard and not too soft. It was the best Pasta I ever had in USA

Good selection on the menu, we sat on the patio and chose to share a pizza. Thin crust, tasty, but not exceptional. Friendly waiter. Looking around, the plates of pasta looked huge.

Great pizza, italian style, my second visit at Pasta Jay. First in May 2016 and now in 2017 again. Always the same taste and friendly waitress. Anytime again.

Our party of seven was seated and served promptly and politely even though we arrived too close to closing. Thanks, Pasta Jay's! We all had great meals and good beer at reasonable prices.

Description
In June of 1980, when Jay Elowsky was 20 years old, he moved from Bay City, Michigan and started washing dishes for his Aunt Kathy and Uncle Sonny, who owned "Sonny's Pizza" in San Clemente, California. After a year stint at CU in Boulder, he decided the pasta business was where his heart was. So he returned to Sonny's to cook for six more years in order to learn the family recipes that had been passed down to him by his mother, "MaMa Genovese", whose grandmother was the cook for the first King of the United Countries of Italy, Victor Emanuel the Second. In September of 1988, his Mom (Jean) and Dad (Lowell) and Jay opened up Pasta Jay's in Boulder at 9th and Pearl. Now almost three decades later - besides the Boulder eatery there are Pasta Jay's locations in Lone Tree, Moab, and Hays, KS. The Moab location opened in 1992. Generations later we continue to use family recipes to create "food fit for a king"!
