Great view as others noted. Food is overall average. French onion soup was the highlight. There is some interesting historical items on site. The lack of music in the upper dining room made for all conversations from all tables audible and awkward. Service was okay...More

Saw this restuarant on a previous trip but didn't make it. On a recent trip toomk the time to get there. We were walk-ins just after opening and had no issues getting a table for (3) on the terrace. What a view! Food was excellent...More

Nice place to watch the sunset, service is great, but food is just so- so. The road up to the restaurant is short but a bit of an adventure!

The three of us were seated on the patio, facing the wall of stone, with the sun setting behind it. Spectacular is what the sunset brings. Heaters were scattered throughout the seating area. Our server, Linda, was very attentive and service was really quick. Dinner...More

I had the chefs special prime rib, and it was fantastic. It looks like there may have been some older pictures that showed a lackluster plate, but I was impressed by the quality, quantity And display of the plate. Not to mention the million dollar...More

Amazing food and wine. The steak was excellent. The view was also perfect after a long weekend of hiking and exploring. I was a little worried about the service at first but our server was great.

In a town of beer joints, and pizza places, this place is a gem. Great food, attentive service, spectacular view on the outdoor terrace. The artichoke appetizer and homemade tomato sauce was AMAZING. I had one of the best steaks ever, and I eat at...More

Cliffside restaurant converted from the home of a mid century uranium prospector who struck it rich. Food was good (the mushroom vol au vent was excellent) and portions more than sufficient. Pricing is toward the high end.

Description
The Sunset Grill is in the former home of Uranium King Charlie Steen. In the early 1950s Moab was a small farming community. Arches and Canyonlands were places only a lucky few experienced. In 1952 Charles A. Steen, geologist and prospector, put Moab on the world map. The Sunset Grill specializes in hand-cut steaks, prime rib, seafood, and other traditional dishes.
