This is a nice small local place with very good food. I had their Ruben and a potato/jalapeno soup which was excellent. The service was good and the people very friendly.

Very nice atmosphere - everybody seems to know everybody else. We went for lunch one day and the next day the owner remembered my wife's name. I had a great tuna melt for lunch and the following morning my wife had a wonderful Belgian waffle w/ bananas & whipped cream. Food is prolly the best I've eaten anywhere.

Fresh muffins, soups and healthy choices for lunch or breakfast, a great local place to eat. Hard to resist the chocolate ship cookies or the unique muffin choices

I've been going to the Firebrand for as long as I can remember. It's so very, very good. My favorite is the El Mariachi. It's a hot sandwich with provolone, turkey, green chiles. I've had other sandwiches and have been equally satisfied but this is my go to. A few things to know, CASH ONLY. There's an atm around the... More

I was driving through Gunnison and wanted lunch, but not fast food. So I checked TA and saw Firebrand. I agree, they serve a fantastic Reuben! Not salty, not fatty, just plain delicious.

We've been stopping by at least once every year on our annual trip to Gunnison. It's little and crowded, but you always feel welcome and their sandwiches and sides are excellent. Everything is top quality and fresh. We look forward to visiting the Firebrand.
