Great spot for authentic NY pizza and awesome craft beer selection! The ingredients on our pizza were superior...slices of mozzarella instead of shredded and slices of bacon instead of bacon bits...super delicious and high quality!!!

The Stromboli is to die for. Its expensive but 2 can eat off of it! Could be better if they give you two sauces, one just not enough so ask for extra,

This was the yummiest pizza we've ever eaten! We did takeout (glad we did... the restaurant was packed at 7pm). Would definitely eat there again!

There are many better places to get pizza. Unfortunately we actually all got sick after eating here. Might be a onetime experience but it was enough for us. Just did not taste right?

This place is okay. There is definitely better pizza in the area. Another concern especially around lunch is they only have one waitress. The restaurant is small but if you are not the one there then you will be waiting, which is tough at lunch. The pizza is thin crust oven baked this pretty good. Overall I will not be... More

I can't say I'm an expert in "NY style pizza," but I do know what tastes good. And Marco's may have the best pizza in the South Asheville area. Just the right amount of toppings and terrific, chewy crust. And the Wednesday and Saturday half-price wine specials are great. Friendly service, too. After trying about a half-dozen pizza joints around... More

We ordered a takeout vegetarian pizza with pepperoni. The crust was doughy and the toppings mush. I would look at other reviews though, since our experience may have been an anomaly.

I eat here today it was really good pizza. There was a little bit of a wait when I got here but well worth the wait. The staff was very friendly too. I will be back.

I've been to Marco's Pizzeria so many times and I have never had bad food. The pizza is always on par and perfect! This is by far the best pizza in Asheville and if anyone is looking for some place good to eat you need to check this place out. You will have no regrets! Yum!!!

Description
Marco's Pizzeria continues the family business started in 1933 of cooking unparalleled New York-style pizza in two locations in Asheville, North Carolina. Marco's Great Uncle Patsy started the family's first pizzeria when he expanded the offerings of his ice cream parlor to include the uniquely New York-Italian dish. Patsy's Pizzeria in Harlem originally used a coal-fired oven to create a crust that is thin and crisp on the outside. Today, the fourth generation of pizza-makers in Marco's family continues to use Patsy's recipe and methods to create a dish that is unlike anything else available outside New York.
