On the recommendation of friends, we tried the Red Stag Grill for our 38th anniversary. They did not let us down. Everyone was very friendly (not always true at high end restaurants). A novel feature we had not seen before was that the menus were back-lit, which was perfect for a dark room. Since we were on the road and... More

Great place for that one of a kind food, the elk was super great you will never believe it. The steaks just melt in your mouth and the sea bass you can't find this just any were.

The decor and service was really nice, but the food was barely ok, the price point definitely did not match the quality. Don't waste your time or money. super disappointing...

We came here to celebrate our 14th anniversary - and it was a special meal, with a few drawbacks. My husband and I both had the 4 course tasting menu paired with wine. The food was first class - every course was delicious, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. We had no complaints at all with the food - which of... More

One of the best meals we've had since moving to the Asheville area some 4 years ago! From the moment we walked into the Bar/Restaurant we were not disappointed. The way we were treated at the bar to the gastronomic delight at dinner it was a sublime experience. Our cocktails were perfect, the roasted pear salad's flavor was a delightful... More

I had squash bisque which was delicious, but a little cool. Also had a small fillet and it was good. There was elk on the menu, but not much else for exotic meat which the restaurant is known for. The waiter was nice and personable. The menu was reasonably priced for the atmosphere and food varieties. The decor was interesting... More

In the Bohemian, outstanding atomosphere, service, and food. I had the elk entree and it was incredibly composed. Every dish was well thought out and balanced. Flourless black forest cake will feed four. #rich

Definitely paying tribute to Bohemia, the Red Stag Grill is decorated like a movie set of a hunting lodge. Lots of and antlers and deer skulls as décor. And it’s very dark as you can see from my pictures of the food. The menu is ambitious (and actually lit up)… I opt for the chef’s four course tasting menu. Starting... More
