Go for the sandwich (with sauce and slaw of course) and the hush puppies. Both are fabulous. Good onion rings. Forget the beans.

After a 706 mile drive from Chicago, proximity to our hotel, Quality Inn & Suites Biltmore East, was a key consideration. That said, a good meal was a necessity. Little Pigs was the perfect answer for us. The food was excellent. The pulled pork was tasty and moist. The chicken (we had a combo) was crisp on the outside, nicely... More

Simple place. Paper plates and great take out. Many people eating here when we did, but the line kept moving. Staff checked on diners throughout dinner. Whole family enjoyed the food.

Was tired and hungry and it was a busy Saturday downtown so after seeing all the crowds in the restaurants (and mind you it was 1:30 in the afternoon)we saw this place while at a stop sign. BBQ was good but the sides ordinary. Was a good value and hit the spot at the time. No reason not to stop.

Had the pleasure to eat here on a February Saturday evening. Asheville is such a high profile foodie town, a down home joint like this can be squeezed out. But if you're seeking true NC BBQ done proper to its cultural significance, this is the place in Asheville. Friends that grew up there tell me it hasn't ever changed, and... More

We stopped here last November while in town from Atlanta. Just by chance we lucked into the best hushpuppies and broasted chicken I've ever had. Great customer service and prices. If you visit Ashville and get the chance, do stop by for a 4 piece plate (white meat chicken).

Ordered the ribs and bbq plate with cole slaw and baked beans. I was so pleased the cole slaw wasn't too sweet nor too creamy. Beans were good and had a bit of kick. Po boys were like Dunkin Donuts plain munchkins with added sugar...so tasty dipped in either of the two bbq sauces on our table. The rib meat... More

But ordering chicken at s BBQ restaurant seemed risky. Not so. Chicken was fresh, crispy, and NOT greasy. A 1/2 chicken with 2 sides (potato salad and beans) was a bargain at $10.50. Loved it, the iced tea was homemade, the hush puppies sweet, not oniony, and I can't wait to go back to try the 'cue. Off the beaten... More

Description
Very mediocre. Not advised for true BBQ lovers. The chopped pork was mundane, very little smoked flavor, could have been oven roasted instead of smoked or fire roasted. very ordinary, Beans were terrible, tasted like they were straight from the can. Sauce was not very good. Best thing on my plate were the Hush Puppies. They were really good. I won't be goung back
