We stumbled across this restaurant on our way to pigeon forge... so glad we did! What a gem. My husband ordered the fried chicken, my daughter got the meatloaf and I had the BLAT. Everything was amazing, fresh and delicious.

Just had dinner at Sunny Point. The shrimp and grits were some of the best I've ever had. Usually I will eat half of a serving but not this time. I ate every bite. It was truly wonderful. My husband had the rib eye. He enjoyed it, especially the potato au gratin but would get the shrimp and grits next... More

This really should be their motto. I visit Asheville as often as I can for it's mountains, food and fun hippie vibe. I have breakfast at Sunny Point Café at least once during my stay. Love their huevos rancheros, biscuits, waffles, bacon and random seasonal specials. Coffee is also good. Even though they're busy, they try their best to make... More

Great location in West Asheville, with indoor and outdoor seating and a friendly and attentive staff, ready with suggestions, refills (good coffee!) and an imaginative menu. You may have to wait for a table (always a good sign, and welcome too if you're not expecting fast food), but worth it, and it's handled expertly with updates whenever you want them... More

This was our second time here. Portions are large so we split huevos rancheros with a side of their cheese grits. Fun little place. Many healthy options. We will go back on our next trip to Asheville.

My wife and I went here during a trip to Asheville. It was highly recommended and we both thought the food was excellent. My wife does has several food allergies (gluten, soy, milk and eggs) but she was able to get some type of pancake which she thoroughly enjoyed. You get more than average food for the amount that you... More

I live very close to Sunny Point so I pass it almost daily. They never lack for business so I figured they must have pretty good food there. So finally on our way home one day we stopped to eat. I was expecting some delicious food because of the business that they have constantly. The food was passable but I... More

Although they have interesting parings of food, this is definitely not a traditional breakfast. Maybe those with a more sharper palate may appreciate this. Having small children The menu did not appeal.

Go early! The lines are long but the wait is worth it. One of my go-tos when we have company from out of town. Unusual, quirky, fun and funky, all at a reasonable price.
