First, make a reservation!!! This place is crazy busy! We didn't and waited at bar for a table only to be given another bar spot. Turned out good because we sat right by where all the food goes out which helped us to order! We...More

While certainly a pricey venture, this is DEFINITELY worth the hype. Favorite dish was the octopus. Ambience was lovely, not too noisy or crammed, despite having to share a long table with another couple.

We love tapas, there are some great tapas restaurants in San Francisco where we live, but none of them is as outstanding as Curate! It's better than most of the tapas restaurants in Spain we visited a few times. When we walked in, saw the...More

I was a bit nervous being my first trip to Curate. The waiter was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and drinks. Food was amazing and the Sangria is a must try. Asparagus, potatoes, and lamb was some of our favorites.

On a recent visit we had a wonderful dinner here. The menu is tapas, or small plates; so between the five of us we probably ordered 15-18 plates! The food is exceptional and the service was efficient. The only slight negative is that it's quite...More

My family (hereafter the "Gang of 7") spent a week in Asheville celebrating Heidi's birthday & an annual reunion. Heidi chose Curate as her first dinner choice in Asheville since she often enjoyed tapas in Spain. We loved it! A little expensive, but worth it....More

Planning our first retirement trip, do we need reservations. We kind of like to play it by ear so to speak when we travel, when it comes to food.
