This place is very popular so expect a wait. Good news is they take your cell number and they text you when your table will soon be ready. This allows you time to enjoy some of the shops or a small park across the street....More

Searched for a nice restaurant for dinner while in Asheville NC. Found this online and decided to try it. Well worth going! Such a unique variety of Southern food. The fried chicken was so crispy and moist. Has a lot of different drinks and entrees...More

This restaurant sources quite a bit of their food locally and the freshness is noticed in the meals. The pear salad was my favorite but I tasted several bites of the others' meals in my party. Each meal was tasty except for the kids pasta...More

This place is in a small local shopping center. It is not elegant or fancy. Service was prompt and fun. Menu is varied. Even in this small town there must be 6 Mexican restaurants. The food here has them beat hands down. Go hungry, the...More

They must've been shortstaffed today because we had all kind of different people serving us beverages appetizers and the meal. At one point some waitress brought me a half a serving of fried okra. She said she would come back with the rest, and of...More

We had dinner at the South Asheville location, and ate well. The restaurant brought out biscuits with blueberry jam and honey to start. The sweet potato pancakes and fried chicken were excellent, and the pimento cheese and fried pickle burger was solid. Great meal!

Was so happy to take family from out of town to one of my favorite restaurants. I wish I had read other reviews as was not aware of the sad changes to the menu. And the women's bathroom was a wreck. Tupelo maybe you should...More

First time having dinner here. Inside is pleasant and it has a bar area that you can wait at. We ordered the green fried tomatoes as an appy. They were very good and the goat cheese/cornmeal accompaniment was delicious. I had the pork shoulder which...More

Description
What constitutes "New South Flavors?" For us, it is begins with reverence for those time-honored Southern dishes. Served up by wonderful home cooks for years. We respect the freshness, the flavors and the food itself. But we like to jazz it up a little, add something deliciously unexpected to delight your palate. Our interpretation of traditional Southern fare is creative, inventive and satisfyingly scrumptious. Cheers to New South Flavor!
