Based on all the rave reviews we went to Tupelo Honey for breakfast. We found the menu not at all to our liking. For us, it's "over-engineered" and filled with choices that are just plain unhealthy.

Ok, this was the 3rd time I have eaten here over a few years. First 2 times I was somewhat disappointed in the actual food. It just wasn't up to what I had been told, but we all have different tastes. This last time and I do mean last time ever...the service was beyond horrible. I went with a safe... More

I hate to give this place such a good review but I must be honest! I have anything I did not LOVE at Tupelo Honey restaurant! Of course my very favorite is the sweet potato pancakes. They are to die for. And they're thick-sliced bacon cook to your specifications is just as good and goes so great together. Their lunch... More

My gf and I called a friend of mine to meet us for dinner in Asheville. I picked Tupelo Honey and my friend said he'd also been told it's a great place. By luck I found a parking structure after circling around that was only a couple blocks from the restaurant. Collectively we had fried green tomatoes, fried trout, and... More

My husband and I had dinner here while on vacation based on many recommendations. We sat watching the kitchen and the food was delicious. He had shrimp and grits and I had the sweet tea chicken. My portions were generous and the sides were on point. I would definitely go back if we were back in town.

While there is always a long wait, it is worth it. You can always go across the street and people watch while waiting for them to text you your table is ready.

This restaurant is a great opportunity to experience local "farm to table" food in a relaxed environment. Our server was excellent and the prices were average!! Fun place to eat when in town!

We were walking the historic arts district on our only night in town and walked by this place around dinner time. There seemed to be a line, which is a good thing because that means that a place is good!!! It sure didn't disappoint! I had the best Brussels sprouts that I've ever had there. We're glad to have found... More

Our third breakfast restaurant and definitely our favorite. We arrived for brunch for a 25 minute wait. We were seated about 30 minutes later, so not too bad. Our server was promptly at our table and his attentiveness was consistent throughout our meal. They serve complimentary biscuits and blueberry preserves. One couple both had a fried chicken BLT, fries and... More

It was crowded on Friday in midafternoon but we had a table in about 30 mins. The food was good, ample and filling. I and the fried chicken and biscuits. It may be a chain but it had the feel of a local place.

Thank Stefan C

Our Southern dishes and libations are served with a creative twist and a smile, and we serve our guests nothing that we wouldn't want on our own supper table. When we play with our food (and we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, and our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling and frying, canning and preserving, and utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations.
