Me and my mom love this place! We stopped on our way in to shake off the road dust and get a quick bite. It was so wonderful we ended up eating here again during our trip. Highly recommend the chicken and waffle. To die for! Definitely can split, but well worth the leftovers!

Visiting Tupelo Honey Cafe was a recommendation from a friend! I was so happy I took my friends advice and went during a business trip to Asheville! The atmosphere was welcoming! I sat on a stool at the bar! The bar tender was fabulous and she made a few recommendations! I chose the shrimp and grits and they were very... More

We went in for brunch on a girls' Bachelorette party weekend. One of the girls we were with had raved about the place and she is the reason we went. We were glad we did until she ordered a drink served in the moscow mule mug that has the restaurant's name on it. She loves the place so much, that... More

This is a bustling place. It was suggested to me for breakfast, but I ended up there for lunch and the food didn't disappoint. Having a giant mimosa in a pint glass is a terrific way to begin any meal. Complimentary biscuit? Yes, please! There's so much great stuff on the menu that it's nearly impossible to decide, but I... Only visited the location in Virginia Beach. I've eaten here a few times, as have my friends. The food is delicious, but the service is always slow. Some servers go out of their way with their tables, but other don't even bother asking if you want to hear the specials.

If you don't make reservations be prepared to wait...I was going to make reservations but they weren't taking online reservations that day. So we put our name down on the list..wait time 2HOURS !?! After reluctantly waiting 1 HOUR and 15 minutes we finally got in..it is small inside..I waited that long because last time we were there the food... More

The food was fine - there are a lot of other restaurants in the area that I would try before going back here for dinner.

First time here. Food was very good. Poached eggs over a biscuit with ham. Also, offer a sweet potato pancake that sounds really good. Bring a coat as there is no inside waiting area.

This place is unbelievable. Just so good. And somehow breakfast for 5 people was under a hundred bucks. How is that possible? Lord knows I had a jumbo sized mimosa along with my hearty breakfast so it wasn't me that was keeping the bill low. My mom had the Shoo Mercy Pancake (after my encouragement) and it was simply epic.... More

Description
Our Southern dishes and libations are served with a creative twist and a smile, and we serve our guests nothing that we wouldn't want on our own supper table. When we play with our food (and we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, and our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling and frying, canning and preserving, and utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations.
