This has to be one of my favorite places in town. Excellent sashimi and sushi. Their ginger tea is amazing. Tempura is made to perfection. A delightful dining experience.

Our experience with Wasabi was perfect! My 14 yo son really wanted sushi, I wasn't convinced downtown Asheville could deliver on sushi because of various reviews. But for convenience to our hotel we walked to Wasabi and they did not disappoint ! They even customized my favorite sweet dragon roll which was off menu and it was excellent! So don't shy... More

Staff is friendly but food is overrated, coming from the New York City area you can not compare it. Food too dry, we had hibachi chicken, shrimp tempura and California roll. No way it's the best sushi in America, go to Kim Sushi 2 in West Orange, NJ.

The location is great, very easy to get to, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The sushi was so good we wanted more, unfortunately we didn't have the room for it! We will definitely go back when we visit Asheville!

Delicious sushi and plum wine. Nothing special but a good solid dining experience that pleased everyone in our party of 7.

Overcooked hibachi steak, bland sushi, and not so friendly service. Miso soup was way too salty. Too pricey for what you get. When in Rome (i.e., AVL), stick with the local fare.

No disappointments here! Incredibly friendly and attentive service and fresh fish. The house sake didn't feel like a compromise either. Definitely recommend!

I came here with a colleague for a business dinner. This restaurant is located in downtown Asheville, and parking can be a challenge. Many nearby shops and plenty of other things to see within walking distance. The restaurant itself is clean and has seating for perhaps 20 tables and a sushi bar. Service was prompt and courteous and they have... More
