A quaint place on the edge of Biltmore Village. The burgers and fries were great. It is a quick and easy, no fuss place.

We tried this place for the first time on our 4th visit to Asheville. We drove by it and it looked cool so we wanted to try it! When we come to Asheville, we love to try all the local eateries. This place was great for the family, has a full bar and plenty of menu choices. I don't eat... More

We were in Asheville for just one night and couldn't decide where to eat, and after reading some of the reviews decided to give the Village Wayside a try. We really like it. If we didn't have to be up so early in the morning for my husband to a half marathon, I would have loved to have checked out... More

Though located in the heart of Biltmore Village, which is perceived as a little more uppity, this restaurant/bar has a very 'local', at home feel to it! You walk in, and everyone knows each other like they've been in each other's lives for decades! Service is fantastic, bartenders are efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere is comfortable!

After writing so many reviews, you need to come up with some different review titles! Location is convenient if you are in Biltmore. Parking is a little limited, but we got lucky and something opened up at the right time! Offers limited outdoor seating. Food was fantastic! The humus was spot on and my brisket OMG it was tender. The... More

The burger is the best. The chicken salad is sooo good. The drinks are cheap, the wait staff is fun and the patrons are cool. What more could you ask?

This is a lively pub restaurant that is clearly very popular with locals. We ate in the bar area, which is fine and gave us the opportunity to chat with a couple of friendly/interesting local chaps. I tried a couple of the ales which were superb. There's a good selection of food, my steak and hummus and my wife's pork... More

We had a great experience at the Village Wayside Bar and Grille. We had the CBR fries to start and then the brisket with potatoes and the fish and fries. Everything was delicious. They also have a great selection on beers on the menu. The grapefruit radler is awesome!

We just stopped for a beer, but the bartender was quick to serve us. The food looked good and menu seemed very reasonably priced. I would definitely stop in here if I am back in the area.
