Service was good. Food was good. Price around $3 for each item: All the normal Mexican dishes. Restaurant is named after a town in Mexico. Noisy atmosphere.

From the staff, to the decor, to the food, this place has it all. My husband and I were rather surprised as to how quickly our lunch was served, considering how busy the place was. This was well worth the visit. Prices are very reasonable. Serving portions are good.

We had Chicken Quesadilla and Polo Azteca. Both were excellent and a great value. We would definitely eat here again when we are in the area.

We just had dinner there with two of our grandkids. This was one of the best Mexican restaurants we have been to. The food was great. My grilled fish tacos were very tasty. My granddaughter had a vegan fajita with lots of fresh vegetables. She was impressed and said it was not "soggy". We would go again.

We went there for dinner. The food was good and very fresh. My husband had shrimp and chicken fajitas and I had grilled chicken soft tacos. We also had the Queso dip. Our waitress Emily was very good. We would recommend this place for sure. Thanks!

Arrived in Asheville, read various reviews on Trip Advisor, and chose Coculamas it was close to our hotel. Do you love the feeling you get when you "wing it" and end up a winner?! Not a fancy place but that is the only drawback. As others have stated, the menu was vast and the service excellent. You feel appreciated the... More

Unlike other Mexican style restaurants, the ingredients are fresh and the food is prepared with as little cooking oil as possible. The meal didn't weigh me down for hours and hours--as some Mexican style food can. The portions vary--even for the same dish, but are generally generous. Wide variety of salsa chip dips. Excellent for lunch. A favorite of motorcyclists... More

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant located outside of Asheville proper, just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Menu is huge, as are the portions. Four of us could have easily split two entrees. Service was nice.

Son and I had an appointment at VA Hospital and were on the way home at lunch time when we found Cocula. I'm not big on Mexican food but my son loves it so I said we'd try it. We both had Shrimp Chimichanga. I had refried beans and son had rice with it and both came with salad w/guacamole,... More
