Wow -- what a great little place! Service was quick and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious! I had the tomato and red pepper soup to start, and the duck for my entree, which came with roasted brussles sprouts, an apple and arugala salad, spaetzle, and an absolutely delicious mustard and fruit vinaigrette. It was one of the best... More

Had a relaxing dinner with my daughter after touring the Biltmore Estate. The meal was delicious and the waitstaff was very attentive. I had lamb sausage on a bed of eggs and lentils and my daughter had pasta bolognese. I would definitely visit again on my next trip to Asheville.

Small restaurant with amazing food. Short menu, but good options. Quiet and intimate. I would not recommend for children. Located inside a larger brick building. Near Biltmore. I would definitely recommend trying it out! We have been twice now and loved it both times.

We were a group of 7, so they had us seated front and center. It was nice -- not so sure how the people around us felt about our taking up half the restaurant (it is small). Everybody enjoyed the food. I just had the fried oyster appetizer, which came with a really nice slaw/salad. My husband had the burger,... More

I walked into this place and walked right out. It is too noisy to eat there. I had visitors from Charlotte and wanted to try something different. We had to look somewhere else.

Better yet, hope you don't know them! Asheville is a small town if you've lived here any length of time. If you're coming as a tourist, no worries. It wouldn't qualify as romantic though, the tables are just too close.

Over the last three months we've gone to Fig three times for a burger and fries. The first time, both were good. The second time, they were mediocre such that burger had little taste and the fries were not as crisp as they should have been. The third time, the burger and fries were terrible. The burger, despite all the... More

I live in the area, and was hankering a glass of wine and a snack after a long day of Mondaying. Invited my boyfriend along. My first time here, quickly learned this is not a "bar snacks" kind of place. But I will say, the server was very sweet and down to earth, the French fries were relish, and I... More

We went here for lunch and were "those" people showing up 5 minutes before they closed to prep for dinner. It was some of the best food I've had in NC. There's no way you can go wrong with any menu selection, but you must try the pommel frites, bolognese, and risotto. The Rueben is known to be the best... More

One of my favorite restaurants in Biltmore area. Menu is limited but of high quality. Service can be slow to some people's standards. But, this is a dining experience versus an eating experience alone.
