Great restaurant in downtown Asheville. Be sure to try the Lobster Nachos - excellent. My husband and I share that appetizer, a Brisket Burrito and Bread Pudding. We will definitely be going back because there was so much more on the menu that we want to try! Make a reservation.

Small restaurant, friendly staff, had Mexican hot chocolate for 2 with cinnamon and star anise, and Caldo de Mariscos a Seafood stew with mussels, scallops, shrimp, mahi mahi(fish of the day), crab in a spicy tomato broth with a sourdough crostini. It was a huge portion of food so go there hungry!

Girls-Nite-Out... We all had a great time. The food, the staff, the service, and especially the bar were the best.

Wow!!! While not always the best service; I always enjoy dining at Limones. The menu infuses local ingredients with California, Texas, and Mexican cuisines. The margaritas are unique and each dish is expertly prepared. I personally love the different seasonal variations of the steak burrito - always a must if I am in Asheville.

Limones' atmosphere is warm and inviting. Our server was stellar - attentive but not intrusive, very knowledgeable about the food and wine. But it was the absolutely delicious food that made the evening. We started with the pork empanadas - very good! Then, as my two friends and I could not decide what to order, we shared 3 dishes -... Make reservations days or weeks ahead of time. The ceviche sampler is a must. Also, try one of the specialty drinks, such as the cucumber Margarita. My favorite Asheville restaurant.

Our expectations may have been a little too high as we had heard so much about this place. Our meal was good but not sure it would be considered a favorite by us.

We found Limones through friends who live in Asheville. We have been several times since our first visit. The food is creative - and not your Americanized version of "Mexican Food". The civiche sampler is terrific and the perfect size. Actually, all their plates are the perfect portion - no humongous plateful of food, but a satisfying and healthy portion.... More
